Relevance. Protecting the health of workers in the Arctic zone is an urgent task, especially within the framework of ensuring the national interests of the Russian Federation. The specifics and approaches to the organization of medical care in the Russian Arctic, including employees of remote industrial facilities, are due to difficult climatic, environmental, territorial (remoteness and inaccessibility) conditions, a shortage of labor resources, the severity of work with the presence of harmful production factors, the peculiarities of shift work, the lack of developed infrastructure and the complexity of logistics. In order to improve the organization of medical care and improve the effectiveness of health protection for employees of the Arctic gas complex, Gazprom Dobycha Nadym LLC conducted a survey of employees regarding self-assessment and attitudes towards health, lifestyle, and some aspects of receiving medical care. Purpose: to study the opinion of employees of the gas complex about the state of health and the possibility of receiving medical care at remote industrial facilities. Materials and methods. The research used methods of content analysis, sociological and analytical. Results. Data on lifestyle and environmental conditions, health status and factors affecting it were obtained and analyzed, and priorities in medical care were identified. Conclusion. The results of a sociological survey of employees allowed us to obtain data indicating a fairly high self-assessment by Gazprom Dobycha Nadym LLC employees of their state of health and reasonable attitude towards it. At the same time, certain negative aspects have been identified, which make it possible to outline the main directions for optimizing health protection and organizing medical care for employees of Gazprom Dobycha Nadym LLC.
