10. Then comes the text of the article. The article should contain the following sections: introduction (relevance), purpose, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusion or inferences, references.

Font size of the article is 12, line spacing - 1.5. Alignment: by width. No hyphenation.

11. List of references is drawn up in the order of citation. Alignment: by width.

1) The number of works cited: in original articles and lectures is allowed up to 30, but not less than 5-8, in reviews - up to 60 sources, but not less than 20.

2) In the text of an article references shall be given in square brackets in Arabic numerals. EXAMPLE: .....occurrence [1, 2, 3].

3) In the bibliographic description of each source ALL AUTHORS must be presented. If a publication has more than 4 authors, after the 3rd author must be abbreviated "..., et al" or "..., et al".

4) It is unacceptable to abbreviate the title of the article and the name of the national journal. Titles of English-language journals should be indexed according to the MedLine database title directory. If a journal is not indexed in MedLine, its full name should be indicated.

5) To describe the date of publication, volume, journal number and pages on which the article is published, an abbreviated record format should be used for foreign sources and a full record format for the Russian-language part of the description of Russian-language sources.

6) Bibliographic descriptions of references to foreign sources should be made in Vancouver format in AMA version (AMA style, http://www.amamanualofstyle.com).

7) English-language part of bibliographic description of references to Russian-language sources should be given in Vancouver format in AMA version.

8) In all cases when the cited material has a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), it should be indicated at the end of the bibliographic reference. To check for a doi article, go to http://search.crossref.org/ or https://www.citethisforme.com. To retrieve the DOI, the title of the article should be entered into the search box in English. The latter site, in addition to DOI, automatically generates a properly formatted bibliographic description of the article in English in the AMA citation style. The vast majority of foreign journal articles since 2000 and many Russian-language articles (published after 2013) are registered in the CrossRef system and have a unique DOI.

EXAMPLE:

Zhang M, Holman CD, Price SD. Comorbidity and repeat admission to hospital for adverse drug reactions in older adults: retrospective cohort study. The New England Journal of Medicine. 2009;338:a2752. doi: 10.1136/bmj.a2752

17. The design of figures and illustrations.

The volume of graphic material is minimal (except for works, where it is justified by the nature of the research). Each figure should be accompanied by a numbered caption (aligned by width). References to figures in the text are mandatory. After title of figure it is obligatory to indicate a unit of measure in which data are presented.

Figure 1. title.......( per 100000 of relevant population)

- Illustrations (charts, diagrams, schemes, sketches), drawn in MS Office, should be contrasting and clear. Illustrations should be made in a separate file and saved as an image (in *.jpeg, *.bmp, *.gif formats), and then be placed in the manuscript file as a fixed figure. MS WORD should not be used to add any elements (arrows, captions) over the figure inserted in the manuscript file in view of the great risk of their loss on the stages of editing and layout.

- Photographs, screenshots and other non-painted illustrations should not only be inserted in the text of the manuscript, but also uploaded separately in a special section of the submission form in the form of *.jpeg, *.bmp, *.gif files (*.doc and *.docx if additional markings are put on the image). Image resolution should be >300 dpi. The image files must be named according to the figure number in the text. In the description of the file, a separate caption should be given that corresponds to the title of the figure in the text (for example: Fig. 1. Sechenov Ivan Mikhailovich).

If the manuscript contains figures previously published in other journals (even if their elements have been translated from foreign languages into Russian), the author should grant the permission of the copyright holder to publish this figure in the journal, otherwise it will be considered plagiarism.

If the pictures are not inserted according to the above requirements, the article is rejected!!!

NB!

Manuscripts that do not comply with the rules of the journal will not be accepted for consideration and will not be returned.
