Significance. Cardiovascular diseases and malignant neoplasms are the leading causes of death worldwide. In the United States, approximately 17 million people have survived malignant neoplasms, and a large proportion of them have pre-existing cardiovascular disease. Studies analyzing the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in patients with hematologic malignancies are limited. This study is a retrospective analysis of data from patients with hematologic malignancies undergoing anticancer therapy to determine the prevalence of cardiovascular disease in this category of patients. The purpose of the study is to assess the prevalence of cardiovascular disease among patients with hematologic malignancies. Materials and methods: The study was conducted at Lapino Clinical Hospital from 2020 to 2025. The study included 224 patients (106 men and 118 women) with hematologic malignancies receiving antitumor therapy in the oncohematology department. The prevalence of cardiovascular disease among patients was assessed. All data were structured and entered into an Excel database.
