Introduction. The effectiveness of the treatment of chronic diseases depends on the uninterrupted supply of medicines. The medical and social profile of the consumer of medicines includes a set of demographic, socio-economic, psychological and behavioral characteristics. These data help to understand the needs for medical care, the specifics of its receipt and the factors influencing the choice of drugs. Antiparkinsonian drugs are prescribed for continuous use. By 2020, 93% of medicines in this group were manufactured abroad. Taking into account the changed geopolitical and other factors, an increase in domestic production is required. At the same time, clinical efficacy is an important condition for pharmacotherapy of Parkinson's disease (hereinafter – PD). The purpose of the study. To study the medical and social characteristics of consumers of Antiparkinsonian drugs in the context of import substitution in order to assess the dynamics and develop proposals for the uninterrupted provision of rational pharmacotherapy. Materials and methods. The study was performed on the basis of GBUZ "City Polyclinic No. 2 of the Moscow Department of Health". The analysis of medical documentation regarding the pharmacotherapy of 410 patients with PD was carried out, of which 254 (62%) were men and 156 (38%) were women, the average age was 66.2±7.8 years, the average duration of the disease was 66±45 months (5.6±3.9 years). The effectiveness and availability of domestic antiparkinsonian drugs are analyzed. Results. Among the patients, persons with higher education prevailed. There was a significant increase in the number of patients who prefer Russian-made drugs (4.4 times). A positive trend has been established in the substitution of imported drugs for medicines produced in the territory of the Russian Federation. Discussion. The data obtained indicate that the clinical efficacy and safety of domestic antiparkinsonian drugs are comparable to their foreign counterparts, which, along with the high commitment of patients to therapy with Russian drugs, creates an objective basis for further import substitution. The fourfold increase in the proportion of patients choosing domestic medicines reflects not only their trust in them, but also the successful operation of the preferential drug provision system, which guarantees physical and economic accessibility. The replacement of the imported assortment with drugs registered in the Russian Federation (RF) makes it possible to predict sustainable demand coverage and uninterrupted treatment of Parkinson's disease even under conditions of external restrictions. Conclusion. In relation to patients with Parkinson's disease, guarantees of preferential release of medicines are respected. The survey showed high satisfaction with the effectiveness, safety, and commitment to therapy. The maximum estimates were obtained for physical accessibility, which indicates that there are no interruptions in the supply of vital drugs. The data obtained reflect the clinical efficacy and availability of antiparkinsonian drugs. The dynamics of the increase in antiparkinsonian drugs registered and produced in the Russian Federation over a five-year period has been established, which can be regarded as a guarantee of timely and uninterrupted drug supply.
