Summary:
Introduction. The modern healthcare system, especially primary health care, is undergoing an intensive technological transformation. The activities of nurses in outpatient clinics around the world are actively changing under the influence of technological innovations, new models of care and patient needs, which determines the relevance of analyzing foreign experience.
The aim of the work was a systematic analysis of modern innovations in the activities of outpatient nurses in the first aid system abroad.
Materials and methods. A systematic review of the literature was conducted using international databases (PubMed, SciSpace, Google Scholar, CINAHL) for the period 2020-2025 in accordance with the PRISMA methodology. Keywords related to nursing, digital healthcare, and primary health care were used.
The results of the study. Four main directions of innovative transformation of nursing in outpatient practice have been identified: technological innovations (telemedicine, mobile applications, electronic medical records), optimization of work processes (intelligent planning systems, automation of routine processes), models of medical care (clinics under the guidance of nurses) and tools for interacting with patients (educational platforms, remote monitoring systems monitoring). These innovations improve the quality and accessibility of care, patient and staff satisfaction, and reduce the administrative burden.
Discussion. The conducted research analysis demonstrated significant progress in the field of innovation in polyclinic nursing practice, improving the quality of medical/nursing care provided to patients. The implementation of innovations faces technical, organizational and regulatory barriers. Despite this, they are transforming the role of the nurse towards autonomy and expansion of functions, facilitating the transition to active patient participation in managing their health.
Conclusion. Innovations in the nursing practice of primary care nurses have significant potential to improve the quality of medical care, increase patient satisfaction, and optimize technological processes in the activities of outpatient nurses. Their successful implementation requires an integrated approach, including technical support, staff training, and regulatory adaptation.
