Abstract. Effective and properly organized medical evacuation of patients and injured in emergency situations is extremely important in eliminating the medical and sanitary consequences of accidents and catastrophes. The purpose of the study is to identify ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of medical evacuation in a megalopolis in emergency situations (emergencies), in the presence of victims with trauma complicated by bleeding. Materials and methods of research. The study of the routing of emergency victims in the megalopolis was conducted by analyzing the results of the medical evacuation of 226 emergency victims to various specialized hospitals in Moscow using a SWOT analysis. The results of the study. Medical specialists who participated in the study identified a fairly large number of factors affecting the quality of medical evacuation in case of emergency in a megalopolis, which, in relation to SWOT analysis, can be divided into "internal" and "external", which can directly affect the possibilities of high-quality medical evacuation to specialized hospitals in the capital affected by an injury complicated by bleeding. The analysis revealed the strengths and weaknesses of conducting medical evacuation of victims in a megalopolis with certain risks delaying the onset of final hemostasis. During medical evacuation in the event of an emergency, factors affecting routing have been identified. Conclusion. The factors influencing the quality of medical evacuation of victims with injuries complicated by bleeding caused by emergencies have been identified. Strategies for minimizing risks and increasing the effectiveness of medical evacuation of victims with bleeding-related injuries in emergency situations in a megalopolis are proposed. SWOT analysis is an effective tool for evaluating solutions used during medical transportation of evacuees with bleeding-complicated injuries in emergency situations in a megalopolis.
