Summary:
Introduction. The labor market in the healthcare sector plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the country, influencing demographic processes, medical technologies and the country's economy. The current state of the labor market in practical healthcare, in turn, requires an increase in the professional and qualification structure of medical workers, which is caused by such factors as population aging and the growth of chronic diseases. Russia's transition from centralized planning to a market economic model has caused significant changes in the labor structure and regulatory mechanisms. The study of the labor market in the Russian healthcare sector has revealed significant changes: an increase in demand for medical services due to demographics and the importance of qualifications in the age of technology. Economic crises and migration also affect the market. The adaptation of education to healthcare, government support, and international cooperation are discussed.
