RESULTS OF MEASURES TO REDUCE THE SHORTAGE OF MEDICAL SPECIALISTS IN KRASNOYARSK KRAI FROM 2020 TO 2024

Summary:
Introduction. Implementation of professional standards of medical specialists training is completed by passing accreditation and allows to reduce the shortage of personnel in the practical link of health care. Primary specialized accreditation is carried out by specialists who have passed the training program of higher qualification and additional professional programs. For them, the procedure consists of a testing stage and a second stage with assessment of practical knowledge and skills. Medical workers are considered to have passed specialized accreditation from the moment of entering data on its passing into the Unified State Information System in the field of health care.
Purpose of the study: to analyze the results of passed accreditation of specialists in the period from 2020 to 2024, to understand the current situation and to propose measures to improve the accreditation procedure, thereby reducing the shortage of health care personnel.
Materials and methods: 3514 cadets who applied for primary specialized accreditation were analyzed. Accumulation, correction, systematization of the obtained results were carried out in Office Excel spreadsheets.
Results and discussion: From 2020 to 2024, 3514 people used the platform for accreditation. The number of non-resident participants from 2020 to 2021 increased by 8%, by 2022 amounted to 15%, by 2023 participants from the Far East joined with the result of 22%, and in 2024 the growth amounted to 45% compared to 2020 due to the participation of specialists from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The number of failed specialists remains consistently low. In 2020, 5% did not pass accreditation, in 2021 3%, in 2022 6%, in 2023 10%, in 2024 9% of test takers. At the end of 2024, of the 9% of non-testees, 3% of applicants simply did not show up for the first and second stages of testing.
Conclusion. According to the results of the study the difficulties of passing the accreditation of specialists are revealed, solutions to reduce the shortage of health care personnel are proposed.
