ANALYSIS OF GRADUATES' READINESS TO WORK IN PRIMARY HEALTH CARE

Summary:
Introduction. Preventive work is an integral part of the work of primary health care. In this regard, it is very important to form basic knowledge and competencies on the organization and conduct of medical examinations and follow-up among graduates of the specialty in the specialty "Medical business", who, after completing their studies at the university and passing primary accreditation, start working as a district internist. This study is devoted to the topical topic of the readiness of graduates of the medical university to work in primary health care, to conduct medical examinations and follow-up of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases.
Aim. Conducting an analysis of the readiness of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine to work in primary health care in terms of conducting medical examinations and follow-up of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases.
Materials and methods. A sociological study was conducted among students of the 6th year of the Faculty of Medicine. The database is generated in the Microsoft Excel program. The statistical analysis was carried out using the IBM SPSS Statistics 19 program.
Results. Analysis of the survey results showed that most graduates do not consider themselves prepared to work in primary health care and note that additional training sessions are required, although they confirm during their studies at the university the study of issues related to the organization and conduct of preventive medical examinations and medical examinations of certain groups of the adult population, medical supervision of the adult population for chronic non-communicable diseases.
Conclusion. The conducted research made it possible to assess the readiness of graduates to work independently in primary health care, which confirms the need to strengthen the practical component in preparing students for work in primary health care and expand the mentoring system in the first months of independent the work of young specialists in the clinic.
