Summary:
Introduction. The growing number of depressive reactions is one of the problems of public health and public health due to the fact that these conditions negatively affect the quality and lifestyle of the population. Somatic pathology, especially of a cardiological and neurological nature, increases the risk of anxiety and depressive disorders and potentiates the likelihood of multiple consequences. In order to correct the situation with depressive reactions and the suicidal risks associated with them, as well as the subsequent development of preventive measures in the context of somatic pathology, the conjugacy of these conditions is being investigated. The main tools for studying correlations are reliable, sensitive and valid questionnaires used in complex questionnaires. Purpose: to identify the relationship between depressive reactions and suicidal risks in various types of somatic pathology based on statistical evidence. Material and methods. 80 patients with somatic pathology were examined, 40 of them with cardiological: atrial fibrillation and flutter, angina pectoris, chronic coronary heart disease, ventricular fibrillation and flutter, dilated cardiomyopathy, arterial hypertension, and 40 with neurological: radiculopathy, lumboishialgia, thoracalgia. The average age was 62.9 years. The following methods were used: clinical and psychometric method, and methodological methods of statistical analysis: correlation, variance, multidimensional, discriminant. Results. Four groups of individual factors influencing the survey results were identified. Since the first group includes factors influencing the SAN questionnaire results, we can assume that these factors are determined by the personality type. The indicators of the second group, identified using the Beck and Hamilton scales, in our opinion, are derivatives of the combined influence of the factors of the first and third groups. The third group includes factors influencing the self-assessment indicators on the SF-36 scale (Mh), apparently determined by the current clinical condition of patients. This is confirmed by the indicator of physical health (Ph) close to statistically significant. Separately, it is worth noting the fourth group with factors dependent on gender. Conclusions. Patients with cardiological and neurological pathology undergoing inpatient treatment have a pronounced heterogeneity in mental health indicators, determined by a comprehensive questionnaire. A hypothesis has been put forward about the presence of four groups of individual factors influencing the studied indicators of mental health, justified by the Hartman factor analysis, which determines the expediency of further research to study the mechanism of their influence on the mental health of patients in order to prevent social adaptation of depressive spectrum disorders in people with cardiological and neurological pathology.
